Order Confirmations

Order confirmations are automatically sent to the billing email address given by you during checkout. In order to reserve your product, your credit card will be charged the amount shown on your sales order at the time you place your order. If upon placing your order online, you don’t receive an email confirmation within 48 hours please contact us immediately at 913-268-9595. Upon receiving your order confirmation via email, please review all aspects of the order for data accuracy; you have 24 hours from the time you receive the order confirmation to make any correction, change or cancellation to the items listed on the order. After 24 hours, orders are non-refundable.

TranThomasDesign.com will do everything possible to ensure a smooth and prompt delivery of your furniture and custom items. However, be aware and consider that there are circumstances out of our control that may arise and result in a delay in the production or delivery of your items. We do our best to give accurate lead times from our furniture manufacturers, but estimated lead times are not a guarantee of a specific delivery date. We welcome your inquiries as the estimated delivery time approaches, and we can follow up to give you a more specific idea of your ship date at that time. Also note that shipping time for freight items is on average 5-7 business days from the time that the item(s) are scheduled for pickup from our manufacturers. We act as your liaison to best assist you in a prompt delivery, but again, there are variables that are out of our control as we are considered a third party. We know you’ll enjoy the end result – a product(s) that is made especially for you!

Color Note: Because every computer monitor displays color differently, we cannot be responsible for variations between the actual product color and how it is displayed on your screen. Please order fabric sample swatches to ensure the best match and color representation. Note: Tran + Thomas has no control over fabric/leather dye lots . The swatch you receive may vary slightly from the dye lot of fabric/leather used to create your chair. Tran + Thomas does strive for consistency with our fabrics/leathers, however there are slight variances that are out of our control.

Natural Products: All fabrics/leathers made from natural products such as cotton, viscose and leathers will have natural variations and no two will be the same. These variations should be expected and are not seen as defects.

Cancellations

You have up to 24 hours from the time an order confirmation is received to cancel that order for a refund of the full amount. These cancellations must be made via email response to the confirmation email. If a cancellation is made, the full amount will be refunded to the credit card on which you made purchase. After 24 hours, orders are non-refundable.

Deliveries & Damages

Tran + Thomas product is delivered via a white glove service. Items will be delivered, unpackaged and placed in the room of your choice. Delivery drivers are not authorized to move existing furniture or any other items on the premises.

While our manufacturers do their best to ensure excellent packaging; occasionally items get damaged at the hands of a delivery carrier in transit. Deliveries must be thoroughly inspected for any possible damages or inaccuracies. If damages are found, the shipment must be refused at the time of delivery. Any and all damages must be documented on the Bill of Lading at the time of delivery and verified and signed by the delivery drivers(s) to confirm the damage(s). This is the ONLY time and method for a product to be returned. Upon Tran + Thomas receiving the Bill of Lading reporting the damage(s), we will then order and ship a replacement for you. If you sign for the shipment without reporting any damage you are responsible for all damages and must make any claims with the shipper. Should the item be refused and there are no damages and the correct item was received, no refund will be given. Please make sure that you inspect all packages before you sign for them.

Tran + Thomas will do all we can to get replacement items out as quickly as possible however we do not stock most items, and replacement items will need to be manufactured.

Shipments

Shipping Time Frames
Orders sent via White Glove Carrier average 5-7 business days from the time that the item(s) are scheduled for pickup from our manufacturers to delivery.The shipper will contact you to set an agreed upon delivery date. Shipper gives a 4 hour window with the option of a 30min call ahead.
*Please keep in mind that these time frames are AFTER the product leaves the factory.

Shipping Rates
Tran + Thomas calculates your shipping costs based on your location and item ordered and will provide those with your order confirmation which is emailed to you within 48hours of placing your purchase order. Exact shipping and handling charges for all items are charged based on per pound weight or dimensional weight, whichever is greater and the location of delivery. Most white glove deliveries shipped within the continental U.S. range between $175-$200.

Shipping Backorders
Tran + Thomas will make every effort to ship orders complete. Sometimes an in stock item may sell out before we’ve had a chance to update the website. If an item is out of stock or unavailable, we will ship it as soon as it becomes available. If the item is no longer available, we will do our best to notify you immediately.

Tran + Thomas will do our best to ship out products in a timely manner, but we reserve the right to backorder or cancel orders at any time for any reason. You will be notified via email if part or all of your order is backordered more than 4 weeks.

Tran + Thomas will not be responsible for losses by customer due to scheduling of electricians, contractors, or other professional installers.

Returns and Exchanges

All product sales are final. Tran + Thomas does not accept any returns or exchanges on product purchases.

Sales Tax

Tran + Thomas is a registered Limited Liability Company in the State of Kansas and is responsible for collecting sales tax according to the laws of each state. If sales tax is applicable, it will be included on the confirmation email.

If a piece has a small amount of discretionary damage that is acceptable by the consumer, it should be noted on the Bill of Lading and a $100 credit for damage will be refunded to you. It is then 100% the customers responsibility to have the discretionary damage repaired and transported, as needed.
